As a follow up to my previous blog, "A Marlins Outrage," I decided to post this short congratulatory note to the people at ESPN concerning the Top Ten plays.
The Florida Marlins were finally recognized today with two plays making the list.
Ranking in at #8 was a solidly executed double play in the first inning where Dan Uggla dove and grabbed a liner off the dirt. He skillfully tossed the ball with his glove to Hanley Ramirez who in turn hit Mike Jacobs at first base just in time.
More importantly, the 9th inning walk-off HR off the bat of Mike Jacobs was the #1 selection, and might I add, rightfully so.
