I make my morning trek to ESPN.com to find that one of the front page headlines is "Marlins lose 2nd straight". Is this the same ESPN that largely ignored the Marlins surprisingly awesome start? Should I be offended that the losing makes news while the winning does not, or elated that the Marlins now garner so much respect that it is national news when they drop two in a row? Let me know, South Florida Sports Fan...

E.J. - I agree with you. The media just seems determined to prove the Marlins are are a fluke because...oh my god...they lost two road games against the Reds top two pitchers.
So in answer to your question, I see it as disrespect from them, but respect from our vantage point.
I see this ultimately as a sign of respect. Still makes me angry though.
