Tigers, Cabrera Playing Like Mice

Somebody at The South Florida Fan predicted the Detroit Tigers to have the best record in baseball. Oops, that was I.

Detroit's season has been disastrous so far. At an MLB-worst 0-6, they just got trounced 13-2 by the White Sox. Not good.

Even worse has been Miguel Cabrera. I'm not sure why he's struggling so much, but he's batting a clean .111 with 2 hits in 18 ABs. That's not what the Tigers traded Andrew Miller and a AA-destroying Cameron Maybin for.

It's too early to jump to conclusions, but that gruesome 0-6 is pretty glaring.

The Tigers have certainly disappointed those large Detroit crowds over the past week. Now they head to Boston. Not the best circumstances for a team with so many high priced stars. The "mediocre" Marlins look all that much better at a fraction of the price. Doubt it will last though.

You have to wonder if it's the Detroit Tigers or the Princeton Tigers playing these days.
