We're not sure if the phrase "The Great Andino" originated here or somewhere else. It's a logical phonetic discovery, right up there with The Great Giambino, for instance.
Since it's likely to stick (especially if he keeps hitting towering HRs), we'll assume the credit. If anyone thinks he/she invented it first, please comment and we'll adjust the rights accordingly. Until then, we'll claim The Great Andino as our first watershed moment in nickname lore.
