Love it. Goal scorer, veteran leader, stanley cup winner all in one guy. I wish it was October so we could start playing already!
Stillman - Matthias - McLean
Booth - Weiss - Horton
Frolik - Kreps - Olesz
Belak - Campbell - Zednik
Peltonen/Kilger/Dvorak
There is no need for Peltonen. Kilger is probably done, Dvorak should stay for the PK.
I think the line that comes out on top by mid way would be the Czech line. That line could be very very electric.
I hope Montador stays on too.
Only problem with that is you can only dress 18 players (12 forwards, 6 D-men). Matthias should have an impact, but I don't see him centering the top line quite yet. If Zednik comes back and is 100%, it'd be great to see. Kreps will have a chance to make the squad, but probably as a healthy scratch most nights unless Pete gives someone a night off. I like Stillman opposite Horton. Hopefully new guy can show Horts what it means to work and grind out goals. If those 2 start working together, those are 2 big, strong guys standing in front of the net. Pair him with a quick, puck mover like Olesz or Weiss... good things.
Or imagine Belak and Stillman working together. 2 horses that can put the puck in the net? leaving quicker, speedier options for the other lines.
IT's been awhile, but there are exciting options on the panthers roster. PLUS our defense should be 200% improved over last season... DROP THE PUCK ALREADY. I hate this fortune telling stuff. It never works out anyways (see pre-season Mariners, Tigers, Mets, Indians predictions...)
Great friggin move. I'm so excited. I agree with most of your lines FP4E but I might have Zednik higher than McLean is he gets back to the way he was.
