They should have traded their 29th overall pick for Taylor and the dolphins 1st pick in the 2nd round.

But thats just me!"

Do you HONESTLY think that is a positive trade for Miami? Trade JT to move up from 32 to 29? They could get more for TE Martin than that!

Miami should have used JT to either move up in the round to get a WR (like Sweed) or for a conditional 2009 pick.

NOW, we are lucky to get anything for him because trading him at the deadline, means (a) JT is having a great year and trading him would draw the ire of fans. or (b) having an okay year and won't bring much in trade.

Both men are at fault for this situation. JT needs to realize that Parcells doesn't need to kiss his butt to respect him. Besides, he doesn't need to get along with Tuna..He needs to have the respect/communication with Sparano. HE is his coach!

Parcells needs to realize that JT doesn't need Miami now that Hollywood is calling. His trade value is going down by the minute and probably only plays another year. Kiss up, make nice and get him to a contender.

The Fans want it!
The Owner wants it!
The Player wants it!

The ONLY person that doesn't benefit is Parcells. He gets to keep Taylor, make the team look better in his first year and piss off the media, fans and players! JUST THE WAY HE LIKES IT! :)Finsfan in CThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13053333656146418035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530558882644641875.post-73662043900740303982008-05-01T09:53:00.000-04:002008-05-01T09:53:00.000-04:00Bill Parcells has a right to be peeved. But grown ...Bill Parcells has a right to be peeved. But grown men handle the things that peeve them much more maturely than that. Parcells acted like a petulant child.

The lowest form of respect that you show someone is to acknowledge their existence and deem them worth talking to. Parcells couldn't even show JT that lowest form of respect. That makes him a fairly pitiful figure in my book, at least in regards to this incident.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530558882644641875.post-67235667472321304052008-04-30T22:00:00.000-04:002008-04-30T22:00:00.000-04:00I think a trade should have been made at the draft...I think a trade should have been made at the draft. Taylor went to the media on this one, I have yet to hear or read Parcells' reaction to this.Stanley C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16874270027948177517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530558882644641875.post-55735289432927026282008-04-30T19:30:00.000-04:002008-04-30T19:30:00.000-04:00Compelling response. Parcells is 80% at fault to me.ASpongehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13039959831914151733noreply@blogger.com
